We were thrilled to see the Caipirinha on InStyle.com’s list of Stars’ Favorite Cocktails as Madonna’s Favorite Cocktail! The Vita Coco Caipirinha was even served at Madonna and Demi’s Oscar Party in LA!
No one can deny Madonna has great taste, now we know she also has the best taste in cocktails! Since she is always miles ahead everybody in trends, we’re expecting the Caipirinha is to explode into the mainstream this summer.
Madonna’s favorite all-natural cocktail was created by the mixologist at New York City’s Avenue nightclub.

It was a battle of two South American countries for the FIFA World Cup Qualifying Match yesterday. Brazil was victorious, kicking Chile out of the World Cup for the third time!
Since Leblon is Natural Cane Cachaça produced at our distillery in the heart of Minas Gerais, Brazil, we have no choice but to be loyal to our hometown Brazil during the World Cup. It was a joyous moment when Brazil knocked Chile out of the World Cup with a final score of 3-0, with goals from Juan, Luis Fabiano, and Robinho. We are anxiously awaiting the quarter-final showdown with the Netherlands Friday, July 2nd at 10 AM EST. We will be cheering for Brazil Friday morning, fingers crossed that they beat the Netherlands, with our eyes glued to the big screen TVs at Sushi Sambas across the United States.
Everyone here at Leblon is super excited for the Brazil vs. Chile game today at 2:30 PM EST. Make sure you tune into the game! We will be at Sushi Samba if anyone wants to join us while we cheer on BRAZIL!
The Thompson LES Hotelrooftop pool was filled with a bevy of beautiful women, scantily clad male models and Brazilian cocktails Thursday night. Alessandra Ambrosio hosted her annual kick off to summer with her Follow the Sun Party. Fellow Victoria Secret Angels Adriana Lima and Doutzen Kroes sipped on Leblon Caipirinha’s with Alessandra.
Fellow Brazilian Alessandra said “I feel like I’m in Brazil!”
while drinking the strawberry basil caipirinha!
The Leblonettes Samba danced, poured freshly made Leblon Caipirinhas and posed for pictures with party goers. All the models and guests were eager to know how they could help the Legalize Cachaça movement!
All eyes were on Vitoria Caiprinha as she taped a video, “How to make a perfect Caipirinha,” at the Maxim headquarters in NYC. The video will soon be shown at Maxim.com so be sure to look out for it so you can learn how to make a delicious Caipirinha like Vitoria!
Maxim named the Leblon Caipirinha as the TOP Summer Cocktail of 2010!!
With its fresh ingredients and the smooth taste of Leblon Cachaça, the Brazilian cocktail is great for both day and night at BBQs, parties, poolside, or even at the beach! To celebrate wrapping the video, everyone at Maxim learned to Samba Dance and tasted an assortment of delicious Caipirinhas, including watermelon, strawberry, and the traditional Caipirinha made with Leblon, lime, and sugar.
We also wanted to thank everyone at Maxim, including Mike Dawson, Senior Associate Editor at Maxim, who interviewed Vitoria!

We the People, in order to form a more perfect bar, seek to establish Cachaça as 'Cachaça,' Brazil's Noblve Spirit. We formally and necessarily declare that Cachaça is independent of, and therefore not, 'Brazilian Rum.' We make this declaration with no prejudice or malice towards Rum, nor to any other of our brethren spirits, such as Vodka, Tequila, or Gin.
To prove the above, let facts be submitted to a candid world: We recognize that Cachaça is made only from fresh-pressed cane juice, not molasses, and can only come from Brazil. We declare that Cachaça is the key ingredient to the Caipirinha, Brazil's National Cocktail. We also recognize that Cachaça mixes well with just about anything - fruit juices, sodas, and tonics - and brings a wonderful Brazilian touch to any classic cocktail.
We therefore hold these truths to be self-evident; that Cachaça is Brazil's Noble Spirit, endowed by its creator with certain unalienable characteristics, that among these are a fruity nose, fresh taste, and a long, clean finish. And in support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the confidence of our combined passion and expertise, we mutually pledge our understanding, our professionalism and our sacred honor.
