Art Basel 2010

Leblon Cachaca was a proud participant of the most important art show in the United States, a cultural and social highlight for the Americas: Art Basel Miami Beach.
The first day, Ornare hosted the créme-de-la-créme of designers and architects in its fourth annual Tastemakers Showcase. Ornare’s showroom displayed projects of 21 distinguished architects, designers and builders.  Ornare’s guests had a spectacular time tasting the well known Brazilian drink: Leblon Caipirinhas.
Our fun didn’t stop there……During the week Graffiti Gone Global (GGG) launched its fourth consecutive year with an exhibition of street and graffiti art powered by Sushi Samba and Leblon Cachaca.
We didn’t forget the magazine’s fans! Art Basel selected the top American and international art periodicals and ARTE!Brasileiros launched its first International Bilingual Edition. To celebrate this achievement there’s nothing better than a good Leblon Caipirinha, right?!
And sure, we can’t talk about Art Basel and don’t mention Littlest sister! Littlest sister is a fragment of the explosive satellite art fair phenomena; exploring the “booth” as a venue to exhibit and sell art. Art Basel Miami Beach finds her baby sibling at Spinello Gallery!!

Say Hello to the Florida new Leblon All-Stars!

Over 80 men and women showed up to the open call for our Leblonettes and Captain Caipirinha Search. After one long week 30 new team members went to our very intense Caipi Camp.

The trainees descended on South beach where they learned from Vitoria Caipirinha about Cachaça, Caipirinhas and Leblon. They mixed, muddled and drank. And even had a surprise visit by NYC’s Caipi Mobile Lulu. With Lulu the team is completely ready to wet your appetites with Leblon Caipirinhas.

Keep your eyes opened to check what these guys are doing in Florida!

NY will miss you…

Lulu, the famous Leblon Caipi Mobile, had a blast in NYC for the summer.  She hung out with the hipters, mixologists, models, celebrities, Hamptonites, Upper East siders, World Cup lovers, and even the Naked Cowboy!  But alas, the snow is coming and Lulu needs to follow the sun.

New Yorkers are shedding a tear today as Lulu makes her way to the land of beaches and bikinis. MIAMI!!!

Have fun and don’t forget the sunscreen ;)

We the People, in order to form a more perfect bar, seek to establish Cachaça as 'Cachaça,' Brazil's Noblve Spirit. We formally and necessarily declare that Cachaça is independent of, and therefore not, 'Brazilian Rum.' We make this declaration with no prejudice or malice towards Rum, nor to any other of our brethren spirits, such as Vodka, Tequila, or Gin.

To prove the above, let facts be submitted to a candid world: We recognize that Cachaça is made only from fresh-pressed cane juice, not molasses, and can only come from Brazil. We declare that Cachaça is the key ingredient to the Caipirinha, Brazil's National Cocktail. We also recognize that Cachaça mixes well with just about anything - fruit juices, sodas, and tonics - and brings a wonderful Brazilian touch to any classic cocktail.

We therefore hold these truths to be self-evident; that Cachaça is Brazil's Noble Spirit, endowed by its creator with certain unalienable characteristics, that among these are a fruity nose, fresh taste, and a long, clean finish. And in support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the confidence of our combined passion and expertise, we mutually pledge our understanding, our professionalism and our sacred honor.
